Lung Health Checks

The Government has announced that the NHS will roll out lung cancer screening across England. Currently, lung health checks are only available in some parts of England. They will be available everywhere by 2029. In SWAG Cancer Alliance areas, we are offering lung health checks first. If you are eligible you will shortly receive an invite.

To be eligible for a Lung Health Check you must be:

  • Aged 55 – 74
  • A current smoker or have ever smoked
  • Registered with a GP Surgery
  • Living in an area where lung health checks are currently being offered
