We also have a range of private services that can be booked through the Patient Access platform.
Please allow a week for your repeat prescription request to be processed by both the Harcourt surgery ( 48h ) and us ( 2 full working days ).
For delivery patients, please take into consideration that we can only deliver on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
SMS service – With our text message service, we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect, saving you time and trouble. Just ask at the pharmacy counter.
Repeat prescriptions may be requested if you are taking medicines regularly. You can request a repeat prescription by dropping in the ‘repeat slip’ that you will have received with your last batch of medication. You can also make the request electronically using the NHS app or by registering for access to online services using our own system (systmonline). To avoid error we cannot accept repeat prescription requests by telephone.
To register for online services please enquire in-person at the medical centre reception where you will be issued with secure details to access the service. Please follow the link below to access the service once you are registered:
Once you have requested your prescription, please allow two working days for this to be processed and signed by a doctor. The prescription will then be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy of choice and the pharmacy will then require further time to prepare your medications before they are ready for collection. This time may vary depending on the pharmacy you have chosen, but may be up to a week.
You may notice that your medication has a ‘Review Due’ listed. Your doctor will review your medication around this time and may ask you to attend for monitoring checks, such as blood tests, if this is required for the medication you are taking.
We cannot offer additional deliveries at this time: Before the Covid-19 pandemic our pharmacies were already at delivery capacity and delivered to housebound patients only. We are asking that new requests for prescription deliveries are instead picked up by a family member, friend, neighbour or community support group. Your local authority may also be able to provide you with some options for assistance with pick-up.
There are two volunteer associations that may be able to offer you their assistance with collection :
NHS Volunteers: 0808 196 3646
Wiltshire Well-being Hub: 0300 003 4576
We aim to answer all phone calls and sort all queries, please ring again in 10mins time if no answer.
