Wearing a mask is now only mandatory for some patients

Home / News / NHS Mask Policy
Jun 23, 2022

In line with NHS and the local hospital policy we are updating our mask guidance.

Wearing a mask is now only mandatory for patients:

  • if they have respiratory symptoms and need urgent care
  • out of personal preference

Staff will continue to wear face coverings in all patient facing areas.

This situation is constantly monitored and we will update any changes to this guidance on our website.
